Betty H. Hall is the principal owner of Astute Marketing, LLC. Betty has been handling all levels of external marketing and PR for several companies in the public safety and federal government markets since 1996.
Before starting Astute Marketing, Betty was Director of Marketing for Enforsys and managed all aspects of their marketing, including PR, website, brochures, tradeshows and product launches.
Prior to Enforsys, Betty was Director of Marketing for KAYA Associates, a certified 8(a) small business focused on federal government RFP and contract work, where she tripled their lead pipeline within four months.
Earlier, Betty managed all aspects of PR and marketing for Intergraph Corporation's Public Safety division, coordinating a budget of ~$1.6M and over 30 tradeshows per year. Betty's efforts were recognized by executive management throughout the company as 'the best marketing organization of any division'.
Prior to her role in the Public Safety division, Betty provided over five years of individual contribution for researching and responding to large municipalities and federal government Request For Proposals (RFP) in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) markets.
Betty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations Journalism from Auburn University.
J. Chandler Hall is a partner at Astute Marketing, LLC. Chandler has been performing or managing all aspects of marketing and product management since 1988 for firms ranging from start-ups to a Fortune 1000 company. He is also on the Board of Directors of Emergency CallWorx.
Most recently, Chandler co-founded three companies, all of which were sold within three years of creation for positive capital gains to all investors and shareholders. He wrote the business plan & marketing plans for each one.
In 2003, Chandler co-founded Arxceo, a network security company that was acquired by Japan Communications Inc for ~$10M in early 2006. Chandler was previously a co-founder and Vice President of Marketing for 2C Computing, incorporated in 2000 and sold for $23M in late 2002 to Avocent.
Chandler began his career in 1983 at Intergraph, a computer graphics company. Chandler managed a variety of departments in support, pre-sales and marketing before being named Director of Marketing, Server Division, in 1996. Two years later, Chandler was named Director of Marketing for Intense3D, a new professional 3D video graphics division. Chandler authored their business plan and was instrumental in preparing the division to be purchased by Creative Labs for $50M.
Chandler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Computer Science from Jacksonville State University.
